We really have been spoiling you readers with our coverage from this year’s FrightFest and here we are again giving you another treat.

I sat down with legendary music video and commercial director Joseph Kahn on Friday evening to discuss his new movie Detention that won the Biggest Surprise award at the festival (check out me review of the film here).

Great stuff, Khan sounds like a great guy and his back catalogue of commercial and music video work speaks for itself.

Detention was a massive surprise for me at FrightFest and as I said at the time the time slot and subject matter could have made it a turn off. Turns out it was bloody hilarious and great to look at.

I may even check out Torque!
