Not much to say really. I came 3/5 in Adapted with my predictions from yesterday and 4/5 in Original. Instead of Ides of March & War Horse it was Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (making it 2 for Zaillian) and Hugo (which clearly the industry love as that screenplay was it’s weakest element). In Original they went for Diablo Cody and Young Adult instead of Contagion.

Points of interest: The Guilds clearly like Dragon Tattoo more than the critics. War Horse may be weaker than I thought, although I think the meat and potatoes voters in the Academy might still help it through. Hugo is loved. Bridesmaids & The Help & Midnight in Paris are 4 for 4 with the Guilds so far, but along with The Help but watch for that to change on Monday with the DGA nominations where I fully expect them to throw a Wild Card to someone like Refn for Drive. Remember, many scripts weren’t eligible including your likely Original Screenplay winner The Artist. Finally… YAY for 50/50 and Win Win (although I expect the latter to get bumped come Oscar Time)
